Asset Management Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
Bring your proven experience in physical asset management and program supervision to Metro, where you will help make the region stronger, more sustainable, and more inclusive for everyone who lives and works here.

This is an exciting time at Metro! Join us as we launch a new department to take care of our community facilities, plan for future investments, and manage the agency’s capital construction projects. This position reports to the Director of Asset Management and Capital Planning (AMCP) and provides oversight, organization, strategic direction, problem-solving and evaluation of Metro’s physical asset investments.


This new position was created to coordinate agency-wide collaboration to implement the Strategic Asset Management Plan. We are looking for someone with a passion for taking care of our public assets, expertise in asset management best practices, and the ability to develop program standards that can be implemented across a range of facilities.

In this role, you will be implementing asset management standards, including building out and training on the agency’s computerized maintenance management system, Asset Essentials; developing policies and procedures, such as rating asset condition and estimating renewal and replacement costs; and reviewing and advising on facility specific reports, such as facility condition assessments and Americans with Disabilities Act transition plans.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND
  • Four years of progressively responsible experience in asset management; OR
  • Any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform the job.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience managing assets and/or fleet programs
