Fresno Chaffee Zoo is searching for a knowledgeable, outgoing and guest-oriented Lead Horticulturist. This position is full-time, regular, and benefited. The Lead Horticulturist must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. At Fresno Chaffee Zoo, it is critical to have a strong focus on guest service. Responsibilities:

Horticulturist Lead is responsible for various skilled tasks in horticulture and grounds maintenance as well as occasional plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work as it pertains to irrigation systems. Lead coordinates the team to ensure efficient and effective workflow, makes appropriate logistical decisions and planning for current and future needs, and assists with intradepartmental coordination.
