The Nutritionist oversees the Animal Nutrition program including formulation of species and individual animal-specific diets, managing diet changes, performing routine diet reviews, and facilitating nutrition research.  The Nutritionist will also be responsible for evaluating nutrient analyses of food items, working closely with veterinarians and Animal Care leaders, managing the acquisition, quality control, preparation, and delivery of food items for the animal collection, managing the Animal Nutrition budget, and the supervision of the staff performing those duties (1 Animal Nutrition manager and 6 Animal Nutrition keepers). Performs journey-level skills on air conditioners and heating equipment. Calibrates, installs, troubleshoots and repairs pneumatic, electronic, and digital controls. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the John Ball Zoo’s Aquarium team. They will coordinate tasks and provide professional administrative support for one or more project teams.  There are a variety of tasks related to project plans, tracking project progress, preparing reports, identifying interdependencies, and ensuring that the work is completed as needed.  They will facilitate collaboration and communication ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, on time and with the highest quality.
