Please plan to join us in Salt Lake City for the Aquarium & Zoo Facility Association’s 32nd Annual Conference! Here are some of the highlights that we would like to share with you about this year’s conference:
Pre-Conference
Sunday October 26
Olympic Oval
Salt Lake City, UT
Built in 2001 just in time for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Utah Olympic Oval is located in the community of Kearns, just 16 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. The five-acre venue houses Utah’s only 400-meter speed skating oval and two international-sized ice sheets as well as a state-of-the-art four-lane 442-meter running track. Today, Utah Olympic Oval is a dynamic multi-use facility focused on developing and growing participation in ice sports in the state of Utah.
Zoo Day

Utah's Hogle Zoo
Salt Lake City, UT
Utah Zoological Society was founded in 1911 on a small plot of land inside Liberty Park. Utah’s Hogle Zoo’s current location, at the mouth of Emigration Canyon, was generously donated by the Hogle family in 1931 and stretches over 42 acres of natural hillside terrain. Explore below and learn about Utah’s Hogle Zoo’s amazing 90-year history.

Tracy Aviary
Salt Lake City, UT
An oasis in the heart of Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park, Tracy Aviary is home to over 300 birds from around the world, including many that are endangered or extinct in the wild. Enjoy interactive bird shows, keeper demonstrations, roaming animal encounters, and over a dozen nature play opportunities while you explore 8 acres of themed exhibits and botanical gardens.

Active AZFA Member - $300 on or before 9/25/25, $350 after 9/25/25
Retired AZFA Member - $150 on or before 9/25/25, $165 after 9/25/25
